Romans 7 - Power of the Gospel and the Law 1

In one of the most misused and misunderstood books Paul declares that Christians are free from the Law but yet the Law served its purpose by making sin obvious. Many feel that Romans 7 is about our "sinful physical flesh" and how there's a great struggle internally in a Christian to do good? Is that what Romans 7 is about?
