"My God My God, why have you forsaken Me" (Mt. 27:46). Perhaps no other words have been more misunderstood and even under-appreciated. I maintain that our Father did not look away from Jesus at the cross, that what Jesus did on the cross pleased the Father and that the Father was satisfied with Jesus' labor throughout His suffering. So what does Matthew 27:46 mean? It's something that will empower you! Take a listen! 

Of all the things that Jesus could have said while dying on the cross, one of the seven things He spoke of was FAMILY. God created the family and has given families specific instructions. The Lord Jesus loved His physical family and He still cares about our physical families. Take a listen!

The second great statement of our Lord from the cross "Assuredly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise" are incredible words about the future. When the godly die they go to a place of honor and comfort. We need to be living lives in view of eternity! Do the godly still go to Paradise when they die? Take a listen!
