Job was a godly man striving to live for Jehovah. Why is it recorded that Jehovah said to Satan "have you considered My servant Job"? Why did God put him out there like that? 

With thoughts stemming from the Nortier--Kendall debate (Feb.  11, 2022) I go through Romans and especially Romans 6 and take note of how God declares us righteous IN CHRIST. At the same point in time a person obeys from the heart the form of doctrine a person goes from being a slave of sin [meriting eternal death] to being a slave of righteousness [receiving the gift of eternal life]. As a sanctified person IN CHRIST I am then to produce fruit unto holiness/sanctification. 

I am convinced that the letters of the New Testament are often misinterpreted because we do not ask the right questions when we're reading them. Let's face it -- it takes great discipline not to approach the Text with our personal baggage. Every book of the Bible has been concerned with God's relationship to the descendants of Abraham and so is Romans. What questions was Paul answering in Romans? Take a listen 

Remember the loving father, the prodigal son and the elder brother? The loving father is our God in heaven who rejoices over those things that are worthy to be glad over. What does it look like when we don't rejoice with those who rejoice? Take a listen 

There are a lot of negative things in the world but we are charged to rejoice with those that rejoice. Let love replace any jealousy, envy or negligence that might hinder us from rejoicing with those who rejoice. Take a listen
