Jesus connected with people in social settings. Upon special invitation, in a tax collectors home, with many hated people assembled, the Master Teacher taught them what He knew they needed to hear -- Jesus came to heal those who see that they are sick. With compassion for those lost in sin, Jesus connected with sinners in social settings. Take a listen

Do we realize Jesus connected with people in work settings? He was bold, compassionate and determined to do God's will! Beside the Sea of Galilee, at a work setting, on a bad day for employees, the Master Teacher was patient with their excuses and taught some honest fishermen what He knew they needed to hear. His efforts led to their making a commitment to Him. Take a listen

Can you imagine connecting with people in your hometown in a religious setting? Jesus went about doing good and teaching in their synagogues. He was bold, compassionate and determined to do God's will! In Nazareth, at a religious setting, He read the Sacred Text, explained the Sacred Text and Applied the Sacred Text -- even when He knew many would reject Him!

”How To” Personal Bible Studies
Thursday Nov 04, 2021
Thursday Nov 04, 2021
If you seek to bring others to Christ you realize such requires teaching them the word of God. So how do I do that? Though there are many evangelism tools [booklets, courses, study guides etc], is there a way to organize the basics of what is necessary to win a soul to Jesus, that is still flexible and doesn't depend on/necessitate a formal tool [workbook etc]? Take a listen to my 3 point outline that I have found to be successful in personal Bible studies. God bless

The Sinners Prayer?
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
I hear it very often...say this prayer and you'll be saved. Franklin Graham and many other "evangelicals" frequently instruct people to say a prayer to be saved/become a Christian. Is this teaching from heaven or from men? Does it really matter?

The All Sufficient Written Word of God

The "sinners prayer," salvation by faith-only, salvation by repentance and faith only, the creeds of men, and the commentaries of the reformation leaders have been SO ingrained into our society that many cannot nor will not come to the knowledge of the truth. What is the only hope? The Written Word of God as the only standard of truth is the only sure foundation.

Water Baptism NOT a Work of Human Merit

Friday Oct 15, 2021
It's repeated over and over in the denominational world that to be baptized as Jesus said (Mk. 16:15-16) for the reason His apostles and prophets said to do it (Acts 2:38; 22:16; Rom. 6:3-4; Gal. 3:26-27) is a work of human merit and to be guilty of attempting to earn salvation. Colossians 2:12 is conveniently overlooked and misinterpreted.

Verses in Acts that Don‘t Mention Baptism?
Friday Oct 15, 2021

There are a number of passages in the book of Acts that don't explicitly mention baptism. Does that mean that it's not necessary? Would Acts 4:4 mean that those explicitly mentioned were not baptized for remission of sins as those on Pentecost (cf. Acts 2:38, 41)? Does God save different people in different ways with varying conditions of salvation?

It's commonly argued that our English Bible shouldn't say "for" the forgiveness of sins but should say "because of." It's also argued that due to the fact that the two verbs [repent and be baptized] differ with each other in terms of person and number [ye and every one of you], they can't both be modified by the same preposition "for." Give me understanding? -- take a listen.
